This Week on the Homestead. 04/05/20 – 04/11/20
This week we finally got a little rain on the homestead. It should help the garden and native desert plants grow. I was also able to get a little work done on our kids' playground equipment.

LEGO Challenge: Build an Easter Scene 2020
A few years ago, some of my boys built an Easter Scene out of LEGO. I thought it would be interesting to have them do this again. I thought the two boys who built this did a pretty good job!

Is Smoky the Easter Egger a Hen or a Rooster?
Our second batch of chicks is almost 6 weeks old now. I've mentioned before that I suspect our second Easter Egger might be a rooster, but I just am not sure! I thought I would put it out to the Internet to see what people think. Let us know in the comments!

KiwiCo Kiwi Crate: Arcade Box
KiwiCo's Kiwi Crate is great for keeping kids busy for an afternoon! First, they make the project in their crate (sometimes with help from a parent). Then, they can play with what they've made. Today's project is the Arcade Kiwi Crate.

In spite of being sick for part of the week, I was able to get my garden beds finished. We also moved the last of the chickens from the house to the coop.
