This Double Chocolate Ice Cream uses two kinds of chocolate. It has cocoa powder and dark chocolate. I used 100% cacoa chocolate bars in the ice cream which made a dark, rich, and somewhat bitter ice cream. The whole family greatly enjoyed the this ice cream.

Though it does involve some stovetop work, this dessert doesn't heat up the kitchen. The pomegranate jelly has a tart flavor that balances well with the sweetness of the creamy panna cotta.
We had beautiful weather this week. According to local meteorologists we should have had 90 degree weather already. Instead, we mostly were in the low 80s. That is perfect for going outside and exploring the desert plants that are part of our homestead.
