A friend sent me some mitsuba and shiso (perilla) seeds from Geneva. I sprouted about 50% of the shiso seeds which are round like basil seeds. Mitsuba seeds, on the other hand are long like caraway seeds and only 1 out of 10 seeds that I planted germinated.
Beautiful. I started my own garden this year so I’m looking forward to following. Happy growing 🙂
I’m trying to germinate some shiso and mitsuba seeds. Have you hand any experience with them?
I haven’t grown either, but they look interesting. I especially am interested in the mitsuba.

I’ll try again next spring as fall is here and I’m unlikely to get much growth indoors.
