This week we finally got a little rain on the homestead. It should help the garden and native desert plants grow. I was also able to get a little work done on our kids' playground equipment.

Amid the corona virus outbreak, I break down and do some panic buying. No, not toilet paper, but the things to build garden beds for our homestead.
This week on the homestead we were expecting rain and got almost none. We did some small amount of gardening. We moved the larger chicks into their coop.
This week on the homestead we continued to work on the chicken run, and try to keep the baby chicks alive and healthy. There are signs on spring all around our property, with little wildflowers starting to pop up in protected areas.
This Week on the Homestead was dedicated to baby chicks. We spent a lot of time trying to keep them healthy or nurse some of them back to health. We also purchased a few more because it is almost impossible to have too many chicks.
